Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and begin your scenic drive towards Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The journey passes through lush green hills, river valleys, and charming Himalayan landscapes, offering your first glimpse of the beauty of Destination Sikkim.
On arrival in Gangtok (approx. 5–6 hours drive), check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. In the evening, you may explore the vibrant MG Marg, a pedestrian-friendly street filled with local shops, cafes, and cultural energy. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok, exploring its rich culture, spirituality, and scenic viewpoints. The day begins with visits to peaceful monasteries and continues through some of the most iconic viewpoints of the city.
Explore important attractions such as Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which showcase the deep Buddhist heritage of Sikkim.
