Mountain King Treks is a locally owned and operated trekking company established in 2017, under the management of veteran trekking guide Govinda Prasad Sapkota, who brings more than 35 years of experience in adventure travel and tourism in Nepal. Highly respected for his deep knowledge of the Himalayas, he is regarded as one of the long-standing contributors to Nepal’s adventure tourism industry.
After spending over 25 years working as a professional trekking guide, Govinda Prasad Sapkota founded Mountain King Treks with a clear mission: to provide safer, higher-quality, and more authentic trekking, tour, and expedition experiences, based on firsthand knowledge, personal leadership, and genuine Himalayan hospitality.
