The safety and well-being of our clients are our highest priorities. Mountain King Treks strongly recommends that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before joining any trek, tour, expedition, or peak climbing adventure in Nepal.

Insurance Requirement

All participants are responsible for obtaining valid travel insurance before the start of their trip. Clients should carry a copy of their insurance policy and emergency contact information throughout the journey.

High-Altitude Coverage

Many trekking routes in Nepal reach elevations above 4,000 meters. Clients must ensure that their insurance policy provides coverage for the maximum altitude of their chosen trip.

Emergency Medical Treatment

Insurance should cover medical consultations, hospitalization, medication, and emergency healthcare expenses that may occur during the trip.

Emergency Evacuation

Mountain King Treks strongly recommends insurance that includes helicopter evacuation and emergency rescue services in remote mountain regions where road access is unavailable.

Trip Cancellation and Interruption

Clients are encouraged to obtain coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, delayed departures, missed connections, and other unexpected travel disruptions.

Loss of Personal Belongings

Insurance should include protection for baggage, personal equipment, valuables, travel documents, and other personal belongings.

Responsibility of the Client

It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to ensure that their insurance policy provides adequate coverage for their planned activities and destinations.

Insurance Information

Clients may be required to provide insurance company details, policy numbers, and emergency contact information before the trip begins.

Limitation of Liability

Mountain King Treks shall not be responsible for any expenses, losses, damages, medical costs, rescue charges, or other liabilities arising from inadequate or insufficient insurance coverage.
