Introduction

At Mountain King Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., we believe that clear communication, transparency, and mutual understanding are the foundation of every successful journey. These Terms & Conditions outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both our clients and our company, helping to ensure a smooth booking process and a safe, enjoyable travel experience throughout Nepal.

These Terms & Conditions explain the general rules governing our trekking, tours, peak climbing, mountaineering expeditions, wildlife safaris, helicopter tours, and other travel services. They cover important matters relating to bookings, payments, cancellations, itinerary changes, client responsibilities, liability, and other essential travel conditions.

By booking any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions together with our Booking Policy, Payment Information, and other applicable company policies.

Booking Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed after we receive the required advance deposit and necessary client information. Once your reservation has been accepted, we will send your booking confirmation by email or WhatsApp.

Payments

A non-refundable advance deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance may be paid before departure or upon your arrival in Kathmandu, according to the payment arrangement agreed upon during the booking process.

Itinerary Changes

Every itinerary is carefully planned; however, changes may occasionally be necessary due to weather conditions, flight delays, road conditions, government regulations, natural disasters, political situations, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Whenever changes are required, the safety and well-being of our clients will remain our highest priority. We will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives whenever possible.

Travel Insurance

All clients are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance appropriate for their chosen trip. Depending on the nature of the journey, the policy should provide suitable coverage for high-altitude trekking, emergency medical treatment, helicopter evacuation, trip interruption, accidents, and personal belongings.

Health and Fitness

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit for their selected trip. Any medical condition that may affect participation should be disclosed before departure so that appropriate arrangements can be considered whenever possible.

Guide Authority

For the safety and well-being of everyone involved, clients agree to follow the reasonable instructions and decisions of our guides and support staff throughout the journey. Decisions relating to safety, weather, health, trail conditions, or other operational concerns must be respected.

Trip Modification or Cancellation

Mountain King Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel a trip when necessary due to safety concerns, natural disasters, government restrictions, insufficient group participation, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for carrying valid travel documents, complying with local laws and regulations, respecting local customs and traditions, following reasonable instructions from guides and staff, and maintaining appropriate conduct throughout their journey.

Limitation of Liability

Mountain King Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. acts as a professional tour operator and shall not be held liable for delays, accidents, injuries, loss of personal property, natural disasters, political events, airline disruptions, government actions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Acceptance of These Terms

By confirming your booking and making the required payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, which form an important part of your booking agreement with Mountain King Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd.

Changes to These Terms & Conditions

Mountain King Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions when necessary. Any revisions will be published on this page and become effective upon publication.
