Booking Policy

Mountain King Treks is committed to providing a simple, transparent, and reliable booking process for all trekking, tour, expedition, and peak climbing adventures in Nepal.

Booking Process

To reserve a trip with Mountain King Treks, clients should submit a booking request through our website, email, WhatsApp, or other official communication channels. After receiving the request, our team will review availability and provide complete trip details along with booking instructions.

Deposit Requirement

A non-refundable advance deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required to secure and confirm a booking. This allows us to begin essential preparations, including permits, guide arrangements, accommodation, transportation, and other operational services.

Payment Procedure

After confirming trip availability, Mountain King Treks will provide official bank account details and payment instructions via email or WhatsApp. International bank transfers typically take 3–4 working days to reflect in our account.

Payment Confirmation

After completing the payment, clients should immediately send a copy of the bank transfer receipt or transaction screenshot via email or WhatsApp. Upon verification, we will issue a provisional booking confirmation while awaiting final bank clearance.

Final Booking Confirmation

A booking becomes fully confirmed once the advance deposit has been received in our bank account and all required client information has been submitted.

Remaining Balance Payment

The remaining balance must be paid before departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu, according to the agreed arrangement between the client and Mountain King Treks.

Required Documents

Clients may be required to provide:

• Passport copy
• Travel insurance details
• Passport-sized photographs
• Arrival and flight information
• Emergency contact details

Permit Arrangements

Mountain King Treks will arrange all necessary trekking permits, national park permits, conservation area permits, and other required travel documents once the client information is received.

Trip Postponement

The advance deposit is non-refundable. However, clients may transfer their deposit to a future trip date by submitting a written postponement request at least 14 days before the original departure date. Requests made within 14 days of departure may be subject to additional charges and availability.

Last-Minute Bookings

We accept last-minute bookings whenever operationally possible. However, permit processing time, transportation availability, and logistical requirements may affect final confirmation.

Special Requests

Dietary requirements, accommodation preferences, private departures, additional services, and other special requests should be communicated during the booking process.

Agreement to Company Policies

Before making any payment, clients are encouraged to read our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Travel Insurance Policy, and Responsible Travel Policy. By confirming a booking, clients acknowledge and agree to all applicable company policies.

Policy Updates

Mountain King Treks reserves the right to update or modify this Booking Policy at any time without prior notice.
