Your itinerary.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel by private vehicle. After check-in, you can rest and relax or explore the nearby streets of Thamel at your own pace. Later, your trekking guide will meet you for a short briefing about the Ama Yangri Trek and check your trekking equipment and preparations.

After breakfast, we drive by private vehicle from Kathmandu toward Tarkeghyang, one of the beautiful traditional settlements in the Helambu region. The journey follows winding mountain roads through rural villages, terraced hillsides, forests, and scenic landscapes. As we travel deeper into Helambu, the surroundings become increasingly peaceful and mountainous. After approximately 5–6 hours of driving, we reach Tarkeghyang and settle into our mountain lodge or guesthouse.

We start early in the morning for the main highlight of the trek, the hike to Ama Yangri Peak at 3,771 m. The trail climbs through beautiful Himalayan forest and gradually reaches higher terrain, with fresh mountain air and increasingly open views. From the summit, on a clear day, we can enjoy impressive panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges and mountain landscape.

After spending time at the viewpoint and enjoying the scenery, we descend along the same trail toward Tarkeghyang. The afternoon provides time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this traditional Helambu village.

After breakfast, we leave Tarkeghyang and drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle. The journey follows the mountain roads through forests, villages, terraced hillsides, and river valleys before reaching the Kathmandu Valley. After arriving in Kathmandu, check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

In the evening, we enjoy a farewell dinner with a traditional Nepali cultural program, featuring typical Nepali meals, traditional music, and cultural dance.
