Your Himalayan journey begins with an early morning departure from Kathmandu. A scenic tourist bus drive takes you along the Prithvi Highway, following rivers, terraced hills, and small roadside settlements.
The route offers beautiful views of green valleys, local villages, and distant mountain ranges on clear days. After approximately 6–7 hours of driving, you arrive in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city and gateway to the Annapurna region trekking routes.
In the evening, you can relax by Phewa Lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this Himalayan city. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, you take a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the official starting point of the trek. From here, the trekking adventure begins.
The trail passes through small villages, terraced fields, and forested hills. You walk along riverside paths and cross several suspension bridges while gradually ascending into the lower hills of the Annapurna region.
The route continues through traditional settlements and lush forest sections before reaching Sinuwa, a peaceful mountain village surrounded by greenery. Overnight stay in a teahouse.
Today’s trail gradually climbs deeper into the Himalayan landscape. You pass through dense rhododendron and bamboo forests, small waterfalls, and rocky terrain.
As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more dramatic, with views of deep valleys and distant snow-capped peaks. The air becomes cooler and the environment more alpine.
By late afternoon, you arrive at Deurali, a quiet stop surrounded by mountains and natural beauty. Overnight stay in a teahouse.
This is one of the most exciting days of the trek. The trail continues upward through the Modi Khola valley, passing avalanche-prone sections and open alpine landscapes.
You gradually enter the Annapurna Sanctuary, a natural amphitheater surrounded by towering Himalayan giants including Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South.
Upon arrival at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), you are rewarded with one of the most breathtaking mountain panoramas in the world. Sunset over the Himalayas creates an unforgettable experience. Overnight stay at ABC.
Early morning sunrise at ABC is a magical moment as golden light spreads across the Himalayan peaks.

Today’s trek continues downhill through forests, stone steps, and small villages. The trail is scenic and relaxing, with views of hills, rivers, and terraced farmland.
By afternoon, you arrive at Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs located near the Modi River. You can enjoy a relaxing soak, helping your body recover after several days of trekking.

Day 7: Trek to Road Head, Drive to Pokhara and Return to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you take a short and easy trek to the road head where your vehicle is waiting. The trail descends through local villages and scenic landscapes, marking the final walking section of your Annapurna Base Camp Short Trek Nepal 7 Days.
From the road head, you drive back to Pokhara and continue your journey to Kathmandu by tourist bus. The drive follows rivers, hills, and rural settlements, offering a final glimpse of Nepal’s countryside beauty.
