Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is a vibrant mix of ancient culture, modern lifestyle, and historic architecture. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the bustling streets of Thamel, a popular area known for its restaurants, trekking shops, and local markets. In the evening, our trekking guide will meet you for a detailed briefing about your upcoming adventure. Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Kathmandu.
Today, we embark on a guided tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We begin with a visit to Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), an ancient stupa perched on a hilltop, offering a panoramic view of the city. Next, we explore Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, followed by Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple. The tour concludes at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historical palace complex showcasing Nepal’s rich cultural heritage. After a day of exploration, you will have time to prepare for your trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
The day starts with a thrilling 30-minute flight to Lukla (2,860m), a gateway to the Everest region. The short flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks before landing at the famous Tenzing-Hillary Airport. After meeting our porter and trekking crew, we begin our trek, descending gradually through pine forests and Sherpa villages. Along the way, we cross several suspension bridges and pass Chheplung and Ghat villages before reaching Phakding (2,610m), a peaceful riverside settlement. Overnight in a cozy teahouse.
Today’s trek is both scenic and challenging as we gradually ascend towards Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa town in the Khumbu region. We cross multiple suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. The trail passes through Monjo, where we officially enter Sagarmatha National Park. As we gain altitude, we get our first distant views of Mount Everest. The final steep climb to Namche is demanding but rewarding, as we are greeted with stunning mountain vistas upon arrival. Overnight in a teahouse in Namche.
A crucial acclimatization day in Namche helps us adjust to the altitude. In the morning, we visit the Everest National Park Visitor Center, where we learn about the region’s geography, flora, and mountaineering history. We then hike up to the Everest View Hotel (3,880m), which offers one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. Here, you can relax with a warm cup of tea while soaking in the spectacular Himalayan scenery. After enjoying the view, we descend back to Namche and explore its vibrant market, bakeries, and souvenir shops. Overnight in Namche.
After enjoying the final views from Namche, we retrace our steps back down towards Phakding. The descent is much easier as we pass through Jorsalle and Monjo before exiting Sagarmatha National Park. The trail follows the river, passing dense forests and charming villages, offering a final glimpse of the stunning Himalayan landscapes. Overnight in Phakding.
Today is the last day of trekking. We hike back to Lukla, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and reminiscing about the incredible journey. Upon arrival, we celebrate with our trekking crew, thanking them for their support. Overnight in Lukla.
An early morning flight takes us back to Kathmandu, where you can relax or explore the city. In the evening, we host a special farewell dinner with traditional Nepali cultural performances, celebrating the successful completion of your trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, our team will transfer you to the airport for your international flight home, marking the end of an unforgettable Himalayan adventure.
