During the trek, ensure you stay hygienic, drink plenty of water, and keep warm. - Altitude Acclimatization: Proper acclimatization is crucial to avoid altitude sickness. The itinerary includes rest days at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche to help your body adjust to higher altitudes.
- Weather Conditions: The weather in the Himalayas can be unpredictable, and flights to and from Lukla are subject to delays or cancellations. It’s recommended to allow some buffer days in your schedule for any potential delays.
- Physical Fitness: While no extraordinary physical fitness is required, this trek involves long hours of walking on steep and rugged terrain. Regular exercise and pre-trek training are advised.
- Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance that covers emergency evacuation, medical expenses, and trip cancellations is strongly recommended due to the remote and high-altitude nature of this trek.
- Responsible Trekking: Respect the local culture and environment. Carry out all waste, and avoid the use of single-use plastics. Supporting locally-owned businesses and using local guides and porters contributes positively to the local economy.
- Permits: Trekkers are required to have a TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card and Sagarmatha National Park entry permit. These will be arranged by your trekking agency.

Tour Plan
Welcome to Nepal! Our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After resting, you can shop for any trek necessities. In the late afternoon, we'll hold a debriefing session, followed by a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
Altitude: Kathmandu - 1,350 m
After breakfast, you'll visit major World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Boudhanath Stupa. In the evening, prepare for the trek starting the next day. Overnight at the hotel.
The flight to Lukla takes about 20-30 minutes. After meeting your guide and porter, you'll start the trek, passing through Chaurikharka and following the Dudh Koshi River, eventually reaching Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.
Altitude: 2,610 m
Before reaching Benkar Village, you'll trek through forests of Blue Pine. Crossing the Dudh Koshi River, you'll climb to Chumoa Village and reach Monjo Village after crossing Monjo Khola. Continuing through Jorsale and steep forested paths, you'll arrive at Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Altitude: Namche Bazaar - 3,440 m
Spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar, nearby valleys, villages, and the Sherpa museum. Acclimatization here is crucial. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Altitude: Namche Bazaar - 3,440 m
Trek through forests, cross the Dudh Koshi River, and reach Phungithanga. Ascend through rhododendron forests to arrive at Tengboche, home to the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight in Tengboche.
Altitude: Tengboche - 3,867 m
Cross a suspension bridge to reach Orsho, then walk along the Imja Khola through conifer and rhododendron forests. Pass several villages with Mani walls and Chortens before arriving in Dingboche. Overnight in Dingboche.
Altitude: Dingboche - 4,360 m
You can either hike to Nangkartshang Gompa for breathtaking views of Mt. Makalu or trek to Chhukung. Otherwise, spend the day exploring Dingboche and acclimatizing.
Altitude: Dingboche - 4,360 m
After breakfast, descend to Pheriche Village, then ascend uphill over the Khumbu Glacier moraine. Enjoy views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Tawache, Pokalde, Nuptse, and Kongma-tse throughout the trek. Overnight in Lobuche.
Altitude: Lobuche - 4,940 m
Trek through mountain walls and glacial moraine to reach the Khumbu Glacier viewpoint. Continue to Gorakshep, then trek to Everest Base Camp before returning to Gorakshep. Overnight in Gorakshep.
Altitude: Gorakshep - 5,170 m; Everest Base Camp - 5,364 m
Start early to trek to Kalapatthar for panoramic views of Mt. Everest. After sunrise, return to Gorakshep and continue the trek towards Dzongla. Overnight in Dzongla.
Altitude: Kalapatthar - 5,545 m; Dzongla - 4,830 m
Begin early to ascend the steep Cho La Pass. This section may be challenging, with the final 20 minutes requiring trekking on ice. After crossing the pass, descend to Thangnak. Overnight in Thangnak.
Altitude: Cho La Pass - 5,420 m; Thangnak - 4,500 m
Cross the Ngajumpa Glacier, pass the first lake, and continue to Gokyo Valley, near the third lake, Dudh Pokhari. Overnight in Gokyo.
Altitude: Gokyo - 4,790 m
Ascend Gokyo Ri for stunning views of Ngozumpa Glacier, Gokyo Valley, and surrounding peaks, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Gyachung Kang. Descend to Marchhermo. Overnight in Marchhermo.
Altitude: Gokyo Ri - 5,483 m; Marchhermo - 4,410 m
After breakfast, descend to Namche Bazaar, reminiscing about the trek’s beginning. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Altitude: Namche Bazaar - 3,440 m
On the final trekking day, descend from Namche Bazaar to the Dudh Koshi River and continue through Sherpa villages to Lukla. Overnight in Lukla.
Altitude: Lukla - 2,850 m
Fly back to Kathmandu. After some rest, enjoy a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Altitude: Kathmandu - 1,350 m
On your departure day, we’ll transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport in time for your flight. Safe travels!
